Hello! 

Welcome to our Blog!!

We have been married for 14 years and, like couples who have been together for this long, we have gone through the spectrum of ups and downs that life offers. Through it all, we have discovered new passions. 

We lost weight together in 2011 – 2012 (each of us over 100 pounds). Through our weight loss and wellness journey, we have discovered a new, refreshing, healthy, adventurous lifestyle. We learned to dance, took up yoga, and discovered hiking. As much as we love our new lifestyle, we have struggled at times to keep all of our weight off. We have been, for the most part, successful, but there are definitely challenges, ups and downs. 

On this blog, we will share with you our hiking adventures and some of the amazing photography we take on our treks (my husband is a photographer and has shared his expertise and advise with me, it adds another wonderful dimension to our experiences).
